About Dr. Tammy
Tammy Francis, Ph.D., The Catalyst, is a Texas native. Affectionately called Dr. Tammy, she is the CEO and founder of Catalyst 4 Change Global, LLC and the C4C Global Community. Dr. Tammy is a global strategist, consultant, researcher, author, and speaker. Dr. Tammy has a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. Currently, Dr. Tammy is a tenured Associate Professor in Texas. She also teaches blockchain courses at Althash University, a global campus that offers online blockchain programs. Additionally, she serves as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, Certification, and Accreditation with International Council of Registered Blockchain Professionals (ICORBP).
As a strategist and consultant, Dr. Tammy helps purpose driven leaders move in the direction of more and prepare for what’s next by providing the tools and strategies needed to plan and live on purpose. She empowers and equips leaders, entrepreneurs, and business startups all over the world with purpose-driven, creative business solutions. She also offers goal setting/vision sessions, Web3 education, purpose planning workshops, and conscious connections retreats. Dr. Tammy inspires others on their journey toward more while sharing hers and facilitating conversations in her membership group. She also has an online reading community, Conscious Catalysts Global Online Reading Community (formerly Women Aspiring for More).
As an educator for more than 22 years, Dr. Tammy has taught in grades 6-12 and higher education. Dr. Tammy helps adults improve their reading and writing skills as well as their ability to be successful in college and life. She offers her services as a consultant and professional developer to supports educators in the secondary and postsecondary classroom to improve reading and writing instruction across the curriculum as well as student success strategies in the school setting. Dr. Tammy also shares instructional strategies that create an innovative, engaged, equitable, and inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds. She also delivers professional development and training to educational institutions as well assist with practical strategies for moving into the metaverse—establishing metaversities or a digital twin.
Additionally, she provides education and talks on how to Be A JEDI (belonging, access, justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion), new literacies, multiliteracies, blockchain technology, Web 3, cryptocurrency, metaverse, future of business, future of work, future of education and learning, and careers in the blockchain and digital assets industries. Dr. Tammy also creates blockchain-based curriculum and educational programs and certifies blockchain professionals and blockchain programs, institutions, and organizations around the world. Dr. Tammy is passionate about preparing Black and Brown communities for the future, now; so she travels around world onboarding and educating others, especially women, into Web3.
Her publication, Manifesting More: A Playbook for Planning and Living on Purpose, is the foundation to her brand and movement. The Playbook is filled with life plays for this game called life and strategies to push you toward your passion with purpose. Dr. Tammy even travels the global offering Playbook Workshops to those that dare to aspire for more and move in the direction of more. She also has the books, R.E.A.P. More: 76 Seeds for This Season and Reading as a Social Action: Women Aspiring for More. Dr. Tammy also has chapters published in the books, “You Can: 33 Stories to Uplift and Inspire Everyday People,” “Stronger: A Guide for Women Entrepreneurs on Finding Hope and Motivation for Your Business During Times of Crisis,” and “Play in American life: Essays in honor of Joe L. Frost” (“Social Media as a 21st Century Playground”).
Dr. Tammy is also active in several professional and community organizations, such Association of Literacy Educators and Researchers, National Organization of Student Success (formerly NADE), Texas Association of Developmental Education, Texas Association of Black Personnel in Higher Education, and Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce to name a few. Dr. Tammy is also member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Proudly, Dr. Tammy is a TEDx Speaker. Dr. Tammy has won several awards during her career thus far, such as “Teacher of the Year,” “Disabilities Advocate of the Year,” “The Jerry Johns Promising Researcher,” “Entrepreneur of the Year,” “Edupreneur of the Year,” and “2021 Most Inspiring Women Leaders Across the Globe” awards.
